We have published two versions of this map, showing how the area changed across the years. They cover the Great Bridge and Toll End area, west of West Bromwich, east of Tipton. Other districts include Ocker Hill, Golds Hill, Golds Green, Harvills Hawthorn and part of Horseley Heath (in bottom left corner).
It is a busy map, especially rich in industrial information, and features include LNWR South Staffordshire Line with Great Bridge station, GWR Great Bridge Branch with station, Balls Hill Branch canal, Walsall Canal, Haines Branch Canal, Tame Valley Canal, Toll End Junction, Toll End Locks, Ryders Green Locks, Golds Green Slag Works, Swan Farm Brick Works, tramways, Great Bridge centre with Market Place, Horseley Colliery, Tipton Cemetery, Cotterill Farm Colliery (disused), old coal shafts, remains of old industry and coalfield, Moat Farm, St Martin's church etc.
