Parson & Bradshaw - Staffordshire Directory (1818)

This is the very first Staffordshire directory (apart from two earlier local directories covering the Potteries district only). It provides details of all of the traders in Staffordshire at the time – alphabetically and classified by trade. Also included is a history of each area, and a map of Staffordshire. It is a superb and essential resource for genealogists and historians. This very rare book was kindly loaned to the project by Dudley Archives & Local History Service.
