In preparation for the new Millennium celebrations at the school Mrs Webster , the Head Teacher, asked to author if she would be willing to put together a short history of the school. The author enjoyed doing local history research so eagerly took on the project.

Thinking about the different options of starting such research. The most obvious was to contact post pupils and teachers who would be able to tell about the school when they were there.
