William Sands Cox & The Birmingham Medical School, 1926

The origin of this work is the following minute of the Medical Committee of Queen's Hospital, dated the 23rd June, 1925;
Seeing that the University is about to celebrate the Centenary of the Birmingham Medical School, the Medical Committee feel that they would like to share in the celebration by publishing an account of the life and work of Sands Cox, F.R.S., F.R.C.S., Founder of the Medical School and of the Queen's Hospital .........
This is therefore a Centenary volume. It deals with the life-time of William Sands Cox, and the first hundred years of the famous Medical School of which he was the sole founder and tireless builder. Kindly loaned to the project by the Birmingham and Midland Institute.
