This part covers Birmingham and Sheffield, and in addition to a history and topography of each there is a street directory, and alphabetic and classified trades directories. Covers the areas around each town including the following: - Bedworth, Bilston, Bloxwich, Brieiley Hill, Coventry, Darlaston, Dudley, Halesowen, Handsworth, Leamington, Nuneaton, Oldbury, Redditch, Sedgley, Smethwick, Stourbridge, Tipton, Walsall, Wednesfield, Wednesbury, West Bromwich, Willenhall & Wolverhampton. Also around Sheffield - Rotherham & Masbro. It is very detailed for such an early date (pp. 798). Kindly loaned to the project by Dudley Archives & Local History Service.
