The Squire of Arbury refers to Sir Richard of Newdigate, Second Baronet, (1644 -1710) and this biography follows 'his journey through life', detailing in 17 sections his parents, early life, marriages, the Birmingham gunsmiths, his children, and more. A rich detailed history of one of the ancestors of Arbury Hall in Nuneaton, by a long-time local. Eileen lived with her husband Arthur in a cottage near Warwick before she died in 2005.

Softcover in good condition. vii, 212 pp., index, 15 illustrations, (14.5 x 21cm). Crease along the spine of front and back covers with very slight rubbing on top and tail. Slight browning to text block. Tiny amount of bumping to corners.
