This is the third edition, following from the second edition
published in 1900, the first in 1896. Miller, the Vicar of Radway for
fifty years, collected the traditions and histories during his rambles through
the villages at the foot of the Warwickshire Edge Hills and the Vale of the Red
Horse and complied them within this book. There are fourteen chapters,
including those on Radway and Radway Tower; Ratley and Upton; Warmington and
Arlescote; Shotteswell; Farnborough; Burton Dassett and its Hamlets; Avon
Dassett; Kineton; Tysoe and its Hamlets; and more.
This hardcover has red cloth boards, gilt lettering on the spine,
and is in very good condition with only minor bumping to the corners and spine
ends. The dust jacket is in plastic wrap, in good condition, with some fading
and wear to the spine and edges, and price clipped. It is (22.3cm x 14.5cm)
with 153pp.
