There are 24 delightful pencil sketches from around Stratford, including several of Sheep Street, Holy Trinity Church, Anne Hathaway's cottage, Chapel Place and more. 

This first edition hardback (18 cm x 24 cm) has 20 numbered pages containing the introduction. The sketches are on the right-hand side of the pages with blank facing pages. No page numbers or printed words appear with the sketches, only the artist's title of the piece and signature. 

There is tanning to the endpapers and minor foxing throughout. Many of the sketches are blemish-free. The text-block has dulled with age and foxing; the cover has dulled as well, with bumping to the corners. The spine and pages are very much intact.
